High Voltage Relays for Severe Applications/Conditions
Wherever you switch high voltages (at mean current values), we recommend the high voltage relays of Kilovac. These relays can be either vacuum or gas filled: So the arc will be suppressed and extinguished as the gas molecules cool down the arc. Kilovac relays are resistant to shock, vibration and extreme temperature levels. Many of the relays are hermetically sealed and can be operated in high humidity or in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Other applications of high voltage relays include X-ray technology and Test laboratories for High voltage.
The very short operating time makes HV-relays suitable for RF-applications – for example in transmitters and antenna tuners.
