Thermal interface foils off-the-shelf & customized
Fujipoly thermal foils are used in applications requiring thermal conductivity and electrical isolation. Gap fillers are suitable to high heat density applications like processors or memory chips. Thermal performance level reaches 17 W/mK at maximum.
Fujipoly provides the following thermal foils and parts:
- Thin film material (015 – 0,85 mm) with thermal conductivity 1.0 to 4.7 W/mK
- Tubes, cases and gaskets in various dimensions
- Customized extrusion profiles for smart thermal management
Composition of thermal interface materials
As base material for most thermal interface materials Fujipoly uses silicone rubber, which exhibits good electrical isolation properties, but also has a thermal isolating behavior. Adding filler materials like aluminum oxide enables the resultant material to become a good thermal conductor.
